Find the dead addresses before your sender reputation does

Every invalid address you mail costs you twice: once in the bounce, and again in the sender reputation that decides whether the next campaign reaches the inbox at all. Email Verifier Tools checks an address before you send it — format, typo, disposable provider, role inbox and whether the domain can receive mail at all — one address at a time or a list of thousands. No email is ever sent to the people you are checking.

Inside Email Verifier Tools

  1. Account dashboard

Email Verifier Tools dashboard: thirty-day totals for checked, domain OK, risky and invalid addresses, a single-address check box with paste and CSV options, an API key panel, and a list of recent checks with their verdicts.
Every check counted and kept for thirty days — one address at a time, a pasted list or a CSV upload, with an API key for your own apps.

The mechanism

How verification actually works

Four steps, cheapest first — there is no point asking a mail server about an address that was never valid.

  1. 01

    Clean the input

The address is trimmed and normalised, then checked against the email standards. Most bad rows die here, at no cost.

  2. 02

    Check the domain

An MX lookup in DNS asks whether the domain publishes a mail server. No mail server means nothing can ever be delivered, whatever the address looks like.

  3. 03

    Assess the risk

Disposable providers, role inboxes and typo domains are flagged with the reason, so the decision about what to do with them stays yours.

  4. 04

    Ask the mailbox

Full verification asks the mail server whether that inbox exists and then disconnects, without sending anything. This step is still launching.

The system

What gets checked, and why it matters

Five checks run on every address today, in the order that costs least to answer. Mailbox-level verification — does this exact inbox exist, is it full or disabled — is part of full verification and is still launching, and the tool labels it that way rather than implying it already runs.

01

Format and typos

The cheapest failures to catch. Missing @, stray spaces, double dots and illegal characters fail the syntax rules outright; a domain one keystroke from a real one — gmial.com, hotmial.com, .con — gets flagged with the correction spelled out.

  • Syntax check (RFC 5321/5322)
  • Typo and look-alike domains
  • Suggested correction

02

The domain

An address can be perfectly formed and still have nowhere to land. An MX lookup in DNS confirms the domain publishes a mail server at all, and the same lookup surfaces SPF and DMARC records when you are checking your own sending domain.

  • MX record lookup
  • SPF and DMARC records
  • Domain cannot receive mail

03

Risk signals

The addresses that are real but not worth mailing. Throwaway inboxes from 10,000+ known disposable providers, shared role inboxes like info@ and sales@ that rarely engage, and free-provider flags so you can treat consumer and business addresses differently.

  • Role inboxes
  • Free provider flag

Lists and reports

Paste a list or upload a CSV and the other columns ride along, so what comes back is still your file. Duplicates are found and not charged for, empty rows are called out, and the report gives a deliverability figure with what to remove and what to review.

  • Bulk paste and CSV upload
  • Duplicate and empty-row handling
  • Downloadable list report
  • API key and check history

Questions

Frequently asked

How do you check if an email address is real without sending an email?

Verification asks the recipient’s mail server whether it would accept a message for that address, then disconnects before anything is sent. Before that it checks the format and looks up the domain’s MX records in DNS. Nobody on your list receives anything, and nothing lands in their inbox.

Is Email Verifier Tools free?

There is a free tier that does not expire. Visitors get five checks a day with no account at all, and a free account raises that to twenty a day plus a hundred bonus credits, along with bulk lists, CSV upload, check history and an API key. No card is required for any of that.

What does a "risky" result mean — should I still send?

Risky means the address is real but carries a reason to pause: a disposable provider, a shared role inbox like info@ or sales@, or a domain that looks like a typo. Fix the typos, drop the disposable addresses, and send to role inboxes knowingly rather than by accident. Invalid is the one that will definitely bounce.

Can it check a whole list, not just one address?

Yes. You can paste a list into the bulk checker or upload a CSV, and any other columns in that file — names, company, whatever you keep — come back with it. Duplicates are detected and not charged for, empty rows are flagged, and the report summarises how much of the list is safe to send.

Does verifying a list actually improve deliverability?

It removes one specific cause of trouble: hard bounces from addresses that cannot receive mail. Mailbox providers read a high bounce rate as a signal that a sender does not know their list, and that affects placement for everyone on it. Verification does not fix content, authentication or sending patterns — it clears the problem it can see, which is the addresses themselves.

Who builds and runs Email Verifier Tools?

Flexify Ltd. It is built, hosted and supported in-house alongside FlexifySuite, FlexifyDine, Hospify Pro and our Shopify apps, which is why the people answering support are the people who wrote it.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits from one-off packs and from monthly plans stay in the account until they are used, and unused monthly credits roll over rather than being lost at the end of the month.
